Tenerife - Buenavista Golf
Buenavista Golf is located in the extreme northwest of Tenerife, next to the beautiful mountains of Teno and next to the Atlantic Ocean. It was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and opened in 2003.
Five of the eighteen holes run next to the sea. The holes 10 and 13 end just in a few steps from the ocean and it seems that the waves will reach the green. It is a course, Par 72, easy in the absence of wind, but when it appears (usually from 14.00) the game becomes more complicated. Its fairways are flat, spacious and cleared, with few trees. It is almost a links type course. Its greens are large, well maintained and well protected by bunkers.
It is a course that respects the environment, and it has small reserves of Canarian flowers. Furthermore, it has obtained certifications TUV ISO 14001and 9001.
It is a suitable course for all the handicaps and you may play walking.
