Gran Canaria - Anfi Tauro Golf
The course is located between volcanic mountains and semi-desert landscape, which surprises at dawn and dusk when the sun creates beautiful combinations of ochre tones and shadows. It has a similar style of Arizona golf courses (but without cactus and snakes!).
In this great design Von Haage, Smelek and Bari, tees are elevated and the fairways have strong slopes. You must not lose the fairway, because if you lost it, you will be playing between rock walls or falling down by ravines. The traps are strategically placed and usually come into the game. However, the greens are very large, frank, and easy to take and receive very well, so it is easy to hit directly to the flag. It is a par 72, not particularly long (5848 meters from yellow).
The course, located on the coast, has beautiful ocean views from some of the tees and the maintenance and care of the course is usually perfect. The buggy is recommended, due to the steep slopes of the fairways and the distance between certain holes.
